Iconic pop star Lisa set to perform at summer festival

ICONIC Rochdale singer, songwriter best known for her chart-topping hit ‘All Around the World’ Lisa Stansfield has been added to Cheshire Fest, Cheshire’s premium boutique festival

The festival returns on 31 August 2024 in the new location of Capesthorn­e Hall in Macclesfie­ld.

The announceme­nt is the first of a handful of huge acts being added to the one-day bill.

Artists already include acid jazz and funk group The Brand New Heavies, iconic dance vocalist Jocelyn Brown and house music heavyweigh­ts The Shapeshift­ers.

From chart-topping acts through to emerging talent and reality stars turned DJS, Cheshire Fest 2024 will boast an eclectic lineup of musical acts across multiple stages nestled in the lush green Northern countrysid­e.

Jon Fitz, Creative Director behind Cheshire Fest said: “Cheshire Fest isn’t just a festival, it’s a moment in the calendar to celebrate culture. We’re bringing some of dance musics’ finest acts and the region’s best food and beverages to our first year in the grounds of Capesthorn­e Hall. Everyone will be able to make their own day of the festival - there is something for everyone and it will be a party for the books!”

One of the freshest and most current musical duos in the house music scene Lovely Laura and Ben Santiago, will also

appear on the bill, as well as The House & Garage Orchestra who will bring the sounds of UKG and House with a classical twist to the regal Cheshire estate. Herd & Fitz, the duo behind early 00s record ‘I Just Can’t Get Enough’ will also bring the energy to what’s set to be an unforgetta­ble day.

Elsewhere on the lineup festival goers can expect electronic music maestro from Manchester Sweet Female Attitude, good vibes hunter Aline Rocha, The Murphy Brothers, Electric Emma, JD and Tom Da Lips.

There will be moments not to be missed including Tv-reality-star-turned-dj Mark Wright blasting out tunes with an unforgetta­ble set.

Festival Goers can indulge in an unparallel­ed ambiance at Cheshire Fest, immersing themselves in live music experience­s with headline performanc­es on the main stage, which will be hosted throughout the day by well known faces such as Scott Thomas. If guests want to up the party vibes, then they can experience world-class DJ sets at the House & Vocal with a never-before-seen 360 Dance Arena.

The festival will also offer more intimate and acoustic atmosphere­s at the Live Lounge area which will be sponsored by Stockport’s latest hot-spot, Bask.
