ST MARY’S, BALDERSTONE

WE would love to see

YOU at 10.30am tomorrow as we join together at our morning Service to seek God and praise him in an abundance of different ways! We cannot wait!

We’ll be continuing our sermon series ‘Messy People, Faithful God’ in Genesis chapter twentyone. Children’s groups will be available.

There are groups for children aged four-11. Light refreshments (Tea/ coffee/juice, biscuits and often cake) are served after the service. Never been to a church before or have questions? Don’t hesitate to get in touch! We would love to hear from you! Youth Bible Study continues at Christ Church in the afternoon. Anyone aged between 14 and 18 who would like to come along is most welcome. Parents, please contact Ben Wilkinson at vicar.balderstone@gmail. com to register young people or for more information.

Our Sunday evening Prayer gathering takes place between 6.30pm-7.30pm at Christ Church. (Block Lane, Chadderton, OL9 7QB). If you can’t come in person, you have the option of joining in via zoom.

Smurf’s (St Mary’s Under Fives) meets on Tuesday afternoon

1.30pm-3pm in the parish room. There is a small charge of £1 for one adult with one child and an extra 30p each for extra children.

We want to create a space and community for parents, carers, babies, and toddlers to enjoy each other’s company and share in the highs and lows of having little ones running around! Everyone is welcome to come along whether you’re associated with a church or not – just turn up. New members are always welcome.

Midweek small groups are simply groups of people meeting together to explore the Bible, pray, and encourage each other. There are a range of groups – Wednesday daytime meets at 10am in the church lounge. In the evenings, we have Wednesday 7.30pm at the home of a group member and Thursday evening,

7.20pm - 9pm, Zoom only. If you are interested in what’s going on at St M’s and like to know more head to our website www. stmarysbalderstone.org. uk or please get in touch by e-mail stmarysbalderstone@ gmail.com or see our Facebook page, www. facebook.com/ saintmarysbalderstone.
