Grafka next up to face Heffron

BOXING SHELDAN KEAY ROSSENDALE boxer Mark Heffron has had his opponent named for his fight next month – with the 25-year-old set to take on experience­d Bartlomeij Grafka.

Heffron will return to the ring on Saturday, 17 June, when he competes on a bill at Victoria Warehouse in Manchester.

He will be hoping to keep up the perfect start to his career, having put together an unbeaten record of 15-0, with 13 of those wins coming by stoppage.

Heffron’s last fight came at the Manchester Arena in April when he picked up a second round knockout win against Achilles Szabo.

His latest opponent ●● Rossendale boxer Mark Heffron Grafka has a record of 18 win, 26 defeats and three draws, but has only been stopped five time during those losses.

The Polish boxer is a regular visitor to the UK, having fought the likes of Paul Smith, Lewis Taylor, Callum Johnson, Lennox Clarke and Tom Baker over the last few years.

His most recent fight in the UK came against Zach Parker in Blackpool in April, with Parker winning by fifth round stoppage. Heffron will now be hoping to achieve the same result.

It is scheduled to be a packed bill that Heffron is competing on, with Joe Murray headlining the action.

Murray has a record of 20 wins and just two defeats, with both of those losses coming against Liam Walsh, who challenged for a word title against Gervonta Davis last weekend.

Ryan Doyle, Jordan Thompson, Macaulay McGowan, Charlie Schofield and more are set to be on the card too.
