CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:
SHABNAM Aslam, 38, of Hudrake, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to permitting another person to use a car without insurance and without a licence. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and given six points on his driving licence.
AARON Lee Whelan, 25, of Top Barn Lane, Newchurch, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of blood for analysis as part of an investigation and while subject to a conditional discharge order. He was fined £160, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
ASHLEY Peter Marsden, 27, of Miller Barn Lane, Waterfoot, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was fined £25.
TIMOTHY Douglas Harris, 26, of Maitland Place, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the requirements of a community order. He was given a new 12-week community order with a curfew requirement.
DAVID Gough, 23, of Kiln Mount, Milnrow, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly in Whitworth. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs.
THOMAS Andrew Edward Stott, 21, of Lobden Crescent, Whitworth, pleaded guilty to using a car without insurance, possessing cannabis and drug driving. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £45 costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months.
ANDREW Turner, 55, of Hardman Drive, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a six-month conditional discharge order, a 12-month restraining order and ordered to pay £85 costs. CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:
PHILIP Michael Mason, 51, of West View, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigation, using a car without insurance, and without a licence and a test certificate. He was given a 12-month community order with a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, 40 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 48 months.
JAMES Andrew Turner, 27, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to shoplifting in Rawtenstall. He was jailed for six weeks.
JACK Delaney, 24, of Blackburn Road, Rising Bridge, was found guilty of breaching a restraining order. He was given a nine-month community order with a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £100 and ordered to pay £200 costs.
STEVEN Lumb, 59, of Newchurch Road, Bacup, pleaded guilty to shoplifting. He was ordered to pay £22.60 compensation.
JAKE Peter Nuttall, 24, of Fallbarn Crescent, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a 12-month community order with a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement, 60 hours’ unpaid work and ordered to pay £100 compensation and £85 costs.
LINDSEY Heys, 27, of Pine Street, Haslingden, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend that school regularly. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £100 costs.
LISA Marshall, 42, of Newchurch Road, Bacup, was found guilty in her absence of being the parent of a child of compulsory school age who failed to attend that school regularly. She was fined £220 and ordered to pay £100 costs.
KRISTIAN Moon, 31, of Chestnut Drive, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. He was given a 12-month community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 25-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £25 and ordered to pay £85 costs. CASES heard at Preston Magistrates Court:
CALLUM Stephen Brady, 19, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to two counts of shoplifting in Rossendale and one count of wilfully obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty, all while subject to a community order. He was sent to a young offender institution for eight weeks.
