Sophie Lord was given the adjudicator’s Discretionary Award for her performance as LV in the same production.

The awards were presented at the Last Drop Hotel in Bolton and attended by several hundred members of theatre groups from the whole area, which includes societies from Greater Manchester as well as Macclesfield in the south and Ramsbottom and Rossendale in the north.
The Players are currently casting five productions for their 82nd season, which begins with their 301st production, The Thrill of Love, at The New Millennium Theatre, Waterfoot in September.
