Trib­utes paid af­ter death of sports fans

TRIB­UTES have been paid fol­low­ing the un­re­lated deaths of three sports fans from the Val­ley.

Pas­sion­ate Manch­ester United sup­porter Ja­son Mar­shall, 48, who once talked his way into a Champions League fi­nal, was found dead at his Hasling­den home af­ter suf­fer­ing a brain haem­or­rhage.

Bus driver Gra­ham Catlin, 41, is also be­ing re­mem­bered fol­low­ing his tragic death just seven weeks af­ter be­ing di­ag­nosed with liver fail­ure. A huge Liver­pool fan, Gra­ham also loved watch­ing his son Jor­dan, 18, play for Rossendale Rugby Club. And trib­utes have been paid to for­mer Rawten­stall Cricket Club cap­tain Keith French, who led his team through their most glo­ri­ous sea­son, fol­low­ing his death aged 76.
