CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:
DANIEL David Brooke, 34, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to criminal damage in Rossendale and while subject to a conditional discharge order. He was ordered to pay £300 compensation.
CANDICE Jennifer Paul, 30, of Walmsley Street, Bury, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Helmshore and failing to surrender into custody having been released on bail. She was fined £140, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for three years, reduced by 36 weeks if she completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
JAMES William Edwards, 29, of Freehold Road, Shawforth, pleaded guilty to criminal damage in Bacup. He was fined £178 and ordered to pay £300 compensation and £85 costs.
JONATHAN Alan Radford, 27, of Farholme Lane, Bacup, pleaded guilty to criminal damage. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £100 compensation.
PHILIP Peter Brearley, 35, of Bank Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the community requirements of a suspended sentence order. He was jailed for 12 weeks.
REBECCA Louise Waldron, 28, of Market Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to 10 counts of shoplifting, two counts of failing to surrender into custody having been released on bail and while subject to a conditional discharge order. She was given a 12-month community order with a nine-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £75 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
SIMON Richard Vincent, 25, of Thorn Bank, Bacup, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with supervision requirements following his release from prison. He was fined £50.
JAMES West, 23, of Dobbin Court, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order. His suspended sentence operational period was extended from 12 to 18 months.
PETER Andrew O’Connor, 36, of Fairview Crescent, Bacup, pleaded guilty to breaching a restraining order and while subject to a suspended sentence order. He was jailed for 12 weeks and given a new two-year restraining order.
KRISTIAN Moon, 33, of Blackburn Road, Haslingden, pleaded guilty
to criminal damage. He was jailed for eight weeks.
ROBERT Joseph Patrick Smaje, 43, of Industrial Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to failing to comply with the supervision requirements imposed following his release from prison. He was given a supervision default order, a four-week curfew and ordered to pay £60 costs.
NATHAN Bevan, 35, of Booth Crescent, Waterfoot, pleaded guilty to harassment and sending a threatening electronic communication. He was given a 12-week jail sentence, suspended for 18 months, with an 18-month supervision requirement, a 30-day programme requirement, a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement, an 18-month restraining order and ordered to pay £85 costs.
ROBERT Jones, 53, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in Rossendale in the execution of his
duty and being drunk and disorderly on Bacup Road in Rawtenstall. He was given a 12-month community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement, a six-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £100 and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs.
MARK Rooth, 24, of Woodside Crescent, Newchurch, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer in Rossendale in the execution of his duty and being drunk and disorderly on Bacup Road in Rawtenstall. He was given a 12-month community order, a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement, 100 hours unpaid work and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £85 costs.
CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:
MICHAEL John McGinty, 65, of Yew Tree Grove, Rawtenstall, was found
guilty of failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigation. He was given a four-week community order with a curfew requirement, ordered to pay £200 costs and disqualified from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
MICHAEL Lee Martin, 33, of Commissioners Wharf, North Shields, Newcastle, pleaded guilty to speeding in Haslingden. He was fined £100, ordered to pay £85 costs and given three points on his driving licence.
NICOLA Mary Hayton, 26, of Lord Street, Radcliffe, pleaded guilty to shoplifting at Asda in Rawtenstall and committing fraud by false representation. She was given a six-week community order with a curfew requirement and ordered to pay £85 costs.
