DONORS who supported the bid to reopen Haslingden Pool have been asked where the remaining money should go.
Campaigners have given up on reopening the baths after a five-year long effort, as we reported earlier this month.
In a message on Facebook Steve Marshall, a committee member from the pool group, said: “As for what will happen to any money that has been raised and is left from the donation schemes, any one of the donors can get in touch with me to tell me their preference and we will go from there.
“Any person that has registered will be contacted and consulted, after that what is left we will donate to a charity that is Haslingdenbased and again people will be consulted. It just remains for us to say sorry if you feel we let you down and thank you to every single person who donated, money, time, expertise, materials or anything to the cause.”
