Ladies suffer heavy defeat in Cup clash

JUNIOR FOOTBALL STEPHEN FELINISKI HASLINGDEN Ladies were comprehensively beaten 8-1 in the cup by a Blackburn Community side sitting second in the North West Counties League.

The U15s beat Euxton 4-1 while the U12s enjoyed a 5-0 win against Ribbleton.

Haslingden U10s Tornados were 3- 1 up at the interval in their game against Leigh Genesis thanks to Evie Riley’s hat- trick.

Maleah Bennett and player of the match Antonia JohannsenWard added further goals after the break in a comfortable win.
