Street stars at salon launch

A HOST of Coronation Street stars helped launch a new hair salon.

Liberte, on Burnley Road, Rawtenstall, has been opened by Natasha Ekanoye. Natasha is the sister of Victoria Ekanoye, who plays Angie Appleton in the soap.

Natasha, 24, was joined by Corrie’s Faye Brookes, Alexandra Mardell, Julia Goulding, Lucy Fallon, Bhavna Limbachia, Tisha Merry, Mollie Winnard, and Nicola Thorp.

Victoria said: “I’m incredibly proud of what my sister has achieved, especially at such a young age. She’s extremely gifted, has a huge heart and really listens to what her clients want in order to achieve that huge smile on their face as they leave.

“The cosy boutique salon is in such a great location.”

Natasha, from Rawtenstall, gained experience of running a salon as a teenager, through her mum’s business ‘Candy’s Hair & Beauty Lounge’, in Waterfoot.

She said: “I wanted to creative a relaxed, retreat-like vibe, where you come for a pamper and leave feeling amazing in mind and body.”

The salon is offering customers 15 per cent off their first visit if they bring in this article or quote the code Victoria 15.
