Bethany to dance with English Ballet

A YOUNG dancer had an amazing time after successfully auditioning for the English Youth Ballet.

Alder Grange’s Bethany Whittaker, from Rawtenstall, was selected for a professional double bill performance of Aurora’s Wedding and Ballet Études at the Buxton Opera House last month.

More than 150 young hopefuls turned up to two auditions, including 11- year- old Bethany, who trains at Rossendale Dance & Drama Centre.
