Back to 1918 with tea

AN afternoon tea will be held to celebrate the centenary of the end of the First World War.

St Paul’s Church Centre, off Burnley Road, Constable Lee are inviting people to come along at 1.30pm on Friday, November 2.

There will a 1918 afternoon tea menu, a singalong to original recordings of the period, poppies and Union Jacks.

Come as you are or dress in period style. There is no charge but donations to the Royal British Legion.
