CASES heard at Burnley Magistrates Court:
ANTHONY Stott, 53, of New Way, Cown Park, Whitworth, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was given a 12-month community order with a 10-day rehabilitation activity requirement, 40 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 24 months, reduced by 24 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
THOMAS Egan, 28, of Brailsford Road, Manchester, pleaded guilty to drink driving on Haslingden Road in Rawtenstall. He was fined £300, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
DARREN Lee Minshull, 42, of Irwell Street, Bacup, pleaded guilty to a public order offence and using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour and the offence was racially aggravated. He was given a 12-month community order with a six-month alcohol treatment requirement, a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement, fined £100 and ordered to pay £85 costs.
MARTIN Greaves, 30, of Lark Street, Burnley, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Bacup. He was fined £162, ordered to pay £300 costs and disqualified from driving for 36 months, reduced by 36 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
DAVID Andrew Biggs, 31, of Balmoral Terrace, Fleetwood, pleaded guilty to two counts of theft at The Real Black Pudding Company Limited in Rossendale. He was ordered to pay £1,485 compensation.
ZEESHAN Hussain, 21, of Marigold Street, Rochdale, pleaded guilty to taking a vehicle without lawful authority in Edenfield, driving without a licence and no insurance and possessing cannabis. He was given a six-month community order with a 24-hour attendance centre requirement, ordered to pay £85 costs and given six points on his driving licence. CASES heard at Blackburn Magistrates Court:
ZAHID Shafiq, 27, of Blackburn Road, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to criminal damage while subject to a suspended sentence order. He was jailed for four weeks, ordered to pay £100 compensation and given a 12-month restraining order.
MARY-JANE Jane Gilheaney, 28, of Peel Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to four counts of shoplifting. She was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £270 compensation.
THABAM Jambaya, 19, of Tayfield Road, Manchester, pleaded guilty to theft in Haslingden, dishonestly making off without paying for a taxi and failing to surrender into custody having been released on bail. He was given a four-week community order and curfew requirement and ordered to pay £146 compensation and £85 costs.
KELLY McDonnell, 35, of Park Street, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to three counts of assault by beating. She was fined £486 and ordered to pay £150 compensation.
AIMEE Jane Rebecca Cole, 26, of Margaret Street, Rawtenstall, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis as part of an investigation. She was fined £276, ordered to pay £85 costs and disqualified from driving for 15 months, reduced by 15 weeks if she completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.
STEVEN Macdonald, 45, of West View, Haslingden, pleaded guilty to breaching a sexual harm prevention order and two counts of harassment. He was given a six-month jail sentence, suspended for 12 months, with 100 hours unpaid work, ordered to pay £85 costs and given an indefinite restraining order.
