170 families on the trail of hospice donations

MORE than 170 children and their families took part in the Rossendale Hospice Pumpkin Trail, raising more than £1,000.

The one-mile walk, in Stubbylee Park, Bacup saw children having to locate 12 hidden Halloween-themed boxes. Dan Ratcliffe helped build the boxes and the main event sponsors were Rossendale Storage. Hospice fundraiser Joanna Williams said: “We’re thrilled.”
