former primary teachers from Rossendale have been visiting schools across the valley delivering assembly workshops on the principles of Growth Mindset.
Gemma Sanchez from Waterfoot and Liz Cronshaw from Bury have joined forces to become Grow Your Mindset, an educational and corporate business helping to promote the theories devised by Stanford University professor Carol Dweck.
Gemma said: “Understanding the principles of Growth Mindset is fundamental for all learners, to help them unlock their potential and aim high.
“With today’s high pressured society and the increase of mental illness it’s vital we give children the tools they need in order to cope with anxiety, stress and failure.”
