Festive fishing match on horizon

ANGLING NICK NOBLE TODMORDEN Angling Society’s Christmas Match – the Pete Barrow Memorial – takes place on 9th December 2018.

It’s a ticket only event with tickets being available from Tight Line Shaw and Rochdale Angling.

Tickets are £15 (senior inc. pools) or £7 (junior no pools) including pie and peas dinner.

Draw at the Falcon Hotel, Littleborough up to 9am – Fish 10am to 1pm.

Breakfast available beforehand (payable). Presentation back at the Falcon at 3pm followed by the raffle at 4pm.

Members only match, bring your 2018 membership with you.

The A.G.M. this year is on Wednesday November 7th. At Todmorden Working Men’s Social Club, Halifax Road, Todmorden at 7.30pm prompt.

All proposals are now on the agenda and all club officials and bailiffs are up for re-election.

If you are interested in doing anything for the club on a voluntary basis please come to the meeting and offer your services.

As with every year the season for the Cormorant and Goosander has started, if you have any sightings or any images of these birds on our waters please let us have them, the details of our predation team are in the membership book and are on the website. Where’s Fishing? Lower Town House fishing well, feeding little and often, set up light and you’ll catch well.
