Cider helps Commons toast Lancashire Day
A FORMER Valley school pupil helped to proudly fly the flag at Westminster Palace for Lancashire Day.
Red Bank Cider was one of several fine food and drink businesses invited by Marketing Lancashire to promote their produce in the House of Commons.
Lee Thorne, founding manager of the Boltonbased firm and a former Haslingden High pupil, said: “I knew they’d be ready for a taste of our cider and I think they loved it!”
