Cider helps Com­mons toast Lan­cashire Day

A FOR­MER Val­ley school pupil helped to proudly fly the flag at West­min­ster Palace for Lan­cashire Day.

Red Bank Cider was one of sev­eral fine food and drink busi­nesses in­vited by Mar­ket­ing Lan­cashire to pro­mote their pro­duce in the House of Com­mons.

Lee Thorne, found­ing man­ager of the Bolton­based firm and a for­mer Hasling­den High pupil, said: “I knew they’d be ready for a taste of our cider and I think they loved it!”
