England star in primary visit
PREMIER League star Joe Hart made a special visit to a Valley primary school to inspire the next generation of young footballers.
The goalkeeper, who has more than 70 England caps, spoke with year 4 and 6 pupils at St Mary’s CE primary school in Rawtenstall and took part in a question and answer session.
Headteacher Neil Gurman said: “Joe answered multiple questions about his career and his love for football, including his current time as a Burnley FC goalkeeper, before posing for photos and signing autographs for more teachers, pupils and parents at the school’s Christmas Fair.”
Hart visited the school as part of Burnley FC’s Premier League Primary Stars programme.
