Whispers with Father Christmas

IN our weekly Nostalgia feature we publish a set of photographs shared by our regular nostalgia contributor, Peter Fisher.

This week we take a look back over the years at Christmas celebrations.

Our first picture of the week (top) is a snapshot of Stacey Whiteley and two friends having a word with Father Christmas during Gift Weekend at St Ann’s Church, Edgeside.

Our next picture (right), shows a busy stall at Haslingden St Mary’s Christmas fair.

Next (bottom right), is a photograph of Crawshawbooth members Jack Rostron, Mrs A Kenworthy and Miss Jane Wood at the Inskip League Christmas party.

Our bottom left picture is a snapshot of the Christmas party for the children of members of Haslingden’s IDL Club.

It is not known when the pictures were taken.
