TIME-TRIP

THIS week our Time-Trip feature takes a look back at what was happening in and around Rossendale in 2007 around the Christmas period.

Our first picture of the week (above) shows Water Primary school pupils at their Christmas play. Pictured are Lauren Ingle, Charlotte O’Hara, Courtney Fourie and Richard Owen, all 10.

Our next picture (right) is of Hazelhurst Primary school Christmas fair. Pictured are Eleanor Dundon and Leah Dalley, both nine.

Next (bottom right) is the Christmas Market in Ramsbottom with Stewart and Joan Rothwell checking out the olive stall.

Our final picture of the week (below) is of the painting competition winner Naomi Walsh, eight, who got the incredible chance to switch on Rawtenstall’s Christmas lights with Mayor Joyce Pawson.
