MR Eric William Neill, of All Saints Close, Crawshawbo­oth passed away at home on Sunday, September 13, aged 88.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Joan.

Eric was father to Eric jnr. and Barry, and grandfathe­r to Becky, Thomas, Connor and Reilly.

He will be deeply missed.

Eric was born in Warrington and moved to Crawshawbo­oth in 1970.

For most of his working life Eric was a textile engineer and spent many years working overseas in places such as Nigeria, Tanzania, Madagascar and Peru.

In later life, before retirement, he and Joan owned the village pet shop in Crawshawbo­oth.

A service was held at Burnley Crematoriu­m on Monday, September 28.

TRACEY Anne Vick, formerly known as Tracey Anne Sourbutts, aged 56 of Derwent Close, Haslingden, passed away at home, peacefully with family by her side, on Tuesday, September 22.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, at Burnley Crematoriu­m.

Due to Covid-19 restrictio­ns only 30 people can attend the service, and all places are taken by immediate family.

Anybody wishing to pay respects can attend outside Derwent Close where Tracey and her family will depart at 11.30am to 11.45am.

Tracey moved up from London with her family as a child. She later had five children and worked as a carer for most of her life.

Always aspiring to move to France or Florida with her partner Darren, she loved the outdoors, even talking about buying a caravan one day.

She enjoyed horse riding, gardening, fishing and just looking at the sky at night. Socialisin­g mainly with her sisters, she loved a night out and a dance.

She leaves partner Darren, mother June, sisters Lesley, Paula, Alison, brothers Andrew, Jason and David, sons Stephen, Philip, Liam, and Michael, daughter Abigail and granddaugh­ters Jessica, Emily, Olivia and Ariyah.

Family flowers only; donations if desired will go to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund and Macmillan. Please donate via the family home or funeral director.
