Winter wonderland snow pictures

EXCITEMENT was (briefly) stirred when the Valley saw its first snow of the winter - which then largely disappeared as quickly as it arrived!

The white stuff fell on Friday, December 4, causing some disruption on higher roads.

There is no sign of an immediate return of the snows with a milder week forecast ahead, although the odds of a White Christmas have been as short as 5/1 in recent days.
