Beware ‘surgery’ call

RESIDENTS in the Rossendale area have been warned by police to be on the alert after a patient at local medical practice received a telephone call alleging to be a GP calling from the practice.

Rossendale Police said this was not the case, and it was actually a cold caller from a vitamin/ supplement seller.
