Fire crews tackle chimney blaze

TWO fire engines attended a chimney fire at a domestic property on Oakenclough Road, Bacup on Sunday, December 13.

Firefighters from Rawtenstall used aqua leader packs, a thermal imaging camera, a hearth kit and a reciprocal saw to extinguish the fire.

They were called out shortly after 10.10pm and were in attendance for approximately two hours.
