Brief DISRUPTION

THREE months of roadworks are set to cause traffic disruption for people living in Ramsbottom.

The £1.1m project will start on Church Close on January 4 and will mean temporary traffic lights have to be installed on Dundee Lane, Bolton Street, Ramsbottom Lane, Stubbins Lane and Stubbins Street.

Electricity North West, the company which manages the region’s power network, says the work is a vital part of ensuring the system works.
