NURSERY BLAZE CAR ON FIRE

SIX fire engines were called to a fire at a garden centre.

Firefighters used two jets and one hose reel to extinguish the fire, after being called at 11pm on Tuesday, December 29 to Brookside Nurseries, on Roundhill Road, near Rising Bridge.

There were no injuries reported.

The garden centre declined to comment as the fire was under investigation.

TWO fire engines were called to a car fire on Rochdale Road, Bacup at 6.45pm on Monday, December 28.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
