Massive interest in houses

MORE than 700 people have registered interest in just 35 new homes being built in Ramsbottom.

Elan Homes say they have been inundated with enquiries from potential purchasers after announcing the acquisition of land on Bury New Road.

Construction is already underway and the first properties at the development, known as Holcombe Gardens, are due to be released for sale “off plan” by appointment only from Saturday, January 9.

Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “The response to Holcombe Gardens has been fantastic. We have a database of more than 720 people who’ve enquired about the homes.”

Holcombe Gardens will offer a mix of three, four and five-bedroom properties, including nine affordable three-bedroom homes to be sold at 75 per cent of the market value, subject to eligibility criteria.
