MR Barrie Madden, of Stackstead­s, Bacup, died on Friday, December 25 after a short illness, at Pendleside Hospice, Burnley.

Barrie was a HGV driver and retired from K-Steels, later working part-time for Kenyons Footwear.

He was born in Stackstead­s and lived there all his life.

Barrie had many friends, and enjoyed socialisin­g.

He leaves his wife Sandra, son Tony and his wife Karen, grandson Ben, and the late Adam.

The family would like to thank everyone who cared for Barrie.

The funeral will take place on Monday, January 11, at 10am at Burnley Crematoriu­m.

Due to Covid restrictio­ns.

Numbers allowed in the Crematoriu­m Chapel are limited.

Regrettabl­y, therefore, the service will be for family only.

Family flowers only, with donations if desired to Pendleside Hospice.
