LILIAN Alice Carter, of Ernest Street, Britannia, Bacup, died at home on Tuesday, December 22, aged 82.

She was a retired shop assistant, and enjoyed cross stitch.

Lilian is survived by husband Kevin Carter, children Lynne, John and Kay Carter, and grandchild­ren Matthew, Lauren, Joe and Eden.

The funeral was held on Wednesday, January 6, at Burnley Crematoriu­m, led by David Bartram.

GLENN WATSON

MR Glenn Watson, of Mayfield Avenue,

Haslingden, died at the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Friday, December 25, aged 73.

He was an oven minder at Holland’s Pies.

Glenn enjoyed crosswords, gardening, jigsaws, and reading, and he was a member of Rossendale Memory Choir.

He leaves wife

Kathleen, children Lee and Suzanne, and stepchildr­en Janette, Lynn, Sam, Joanne, Jimmy, Peter, and Jack.

The funeral was held on Wednesday, January 6, at Burnley Crematoriu­m, led by Neil Overton.
