DORIS Riley, of Eastwood Crescent, Cloughfold, died at The Laurels on Tuesday, December 29, aged 94.

She was a retired slipper operative, working at Green Bridge, and enjoyed ballroom dancing.

Wife of the late Leslie, she leaves daughter Lynne and son Carl, daughter-inlaw Elaine, grandchild­ren Scarlet, Christophe­r, Louise, Matthew, and Daniel, three greatgrand­children Edie-Alice, Florence, and Louie, niece Barbara, niece Sheila and befriender Gillian.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 8, at 12.15pm at Burnley Crematoriu­m, led by Rev David Burrow.

MRS Teresa Judge, of Heather Close, Helmshore, died peacefully at Burnley General Hospital on Tuesday, December 22, aged 85.

Teresa was the muchloved wife to the late John Judge, mum to Owen, Vincent, Anne and Peter, mother-in-law to Marie and Andrea, grandma to Gabrielle, Flynn and Amy, sister to Peter and wife Mary, sister-in-law to Anne, aunt, and cousin.

She will be sadly missed by all family and friends.

Teresa worked as a theatre sister at Rossendale General Hospital, before enjoying a happy retirement with John.

Special thanks to the staff at Highfield Hall, Haslingden.

The funeral will be held on Friday, January 15 at St Marie’s RC Church, Haslingden at 10am, officiated by Fr. John Broadley, followed by interment at Haslingden Cemetery.

Family flowers only please, however donations if desired to Rossendale Hospice.
