Police patrol parks after lockdown breaches

-

POLICE are having to respond to reports of anti-social behaviour in parks in the Haslingden area, despite lockdown.

Rossendale officers have appealed to the public to contact them if there are any issues via the ‘In the Know’ email alert service.

Posting on the Rossendale Police Facebook page on January 6, PCSO Muminah Sheikh said: “You’ve made us aware of issues surrounding anti-social behaviour around the some of the parks in Haslingden.

“We have been out on patrol this evening and are currently out around the areas of particular concern. We have sent out a message on ‘In The Know’ so if you’re having problems with ASB in the Haslingden area or want to make us aware of any other problems in your area you can reply to the message and we will make to the area concerned.”

The message prompted one call for a “curfew” to be introduced.

You can sign up for In the Know at http://orlo. uk/wOyOp or if you would prefer, 01706 237362 between 2pm and 4pm.
