Car flips on side after crash
A MAIN road was closed after a two-car crash which resulted in one vehicle flipping onto its side.
Officers from Lancashire Constabulary were called to the incident on Newchurch Road, Stacksteads shortly before 12.50pm on Sunday, January 17.
Two cars collided, resulting in one flipping onto its side in the street.
Fortunately, only minor injuries have been reported.
Paramedics were called to the scene but only as a precautionary measure. Police remained at the scene while the incident was dealt with and the wreckage cleared. Anyone who witnessed the incident can report details to Lancashire Constabulary on 101 using log number 643 of January 17.
