Business in flames

FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a fire at a business on Manchester Road in Haslingden.

The fire involved a quantity of wire at a commercial premises and crews extinguished it using a hose reel.

Three fire crews from Rawtenstall and Bacup alongside one crew from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service attended. They were called out shortly after 4.05pm on Thursday, January 14, and were there for approximately 20 minutes.
