JANET Cowpe, of Helmshore, passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Sunday, January 10, aged 75.

Originally from Wolverhamp­ton, she moved to Helmshore in the 1960s where family life began with the birth of daughter Michelle, who she leaves behind, along with Michelle’s partner Derek.

Family to Janet played a big part in her life; spending time with her grandchild­ren Dominique, Kyle and their partners along with her great- grandchild­ren Eva, Rosie and Freddie, meant the world to her, all of whom will miss her dearly.

The funeral service and committal will take place on Wednesday, January 27 at 11am at Accrington Crematoriu­m.

Family flowers only; donations in memory of Janet, if desired, to Rossendale Hospice c/o funeral director Caroline Holden-Dewhurst for Johnson, Durning & Woods Funeral Service, Haslingden.

Her funeral will take place on Thursday, January 28, at 12.45pm at St Thomas Church Musbury followed by a burial at Haslingden Cemetery, where balloons will be released.

Family have asked for anyone wishing to pay their respects to stand along Helmshore Road, socially distanced.
