BRITISH Airways says it now has wi-fi available on all its 115 short-haul Airbus aircraft, and passengers can pre-order duty free items directly to their seats via the highlifeshop.com website.

The flag carrier has also launched its new largely UK-sourced pre-purchase Speedbird Café menu from Michelin-starred celebrity chef Tom Kerridge, promising high quality sandwiches and pies at 38,000ft.

Passengers will need to order and pay for their food – prices start at £4.10 – at least 12 hours before take-off and it will be served to them at their seat. The new menu will launch later this month and be expanded as more passengers and flights return after the latest Covid lockdown. ba.com
