Tributes to Towie star

-

JTRIBUTES have been paid to Valley-born Mick Norcross, who appeared in The Only Way Is Essex, following his death aged 57.

The businessman, who rose to fame as the owner of the Sugar Hut nightclub on the ITV series, died on January 21 at his home in Bulphan, Essex.

He first appeared on Towie in 2011 during the show’s second series – and his son Kirk, 32, was part of the original cast.

Mick’s formative years were spent in east Lancashire.

Born in Haslingden, the entrepreneur moved to Blackburn where he lived until he was four. It was at this age that he moved to Essex with mum and dad Margaret and Bernard Norcross.

Gemma Collins, James Argent, Lauren Goodger and Mario Falcone were among the current and former stars of the reality TV show who paid tribute on social media.

Essex Police said his death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
