Woman taken to hospital after crash

A WOMAN was taken to hospital after a crash in Ramsbottom town centre.

Emergency services were called to the two-vehicle smash in Bolton Street shortly after 6.20am on Monday, February 1.

The woman, who is in her 60s, was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries to her back.

The incident resulted in queues of traffic building up around the town centre.
