£180k heritage lift

RAWTENSTALL’S Whitaker museum has received £ 179,900 to ensure its project to create a vibrant heritage hub for the local community can continue.

The money comes from the Government’s £ 1.57bn Culture Recovery Fund, to support cultural and heritage projects and businesses hit by the coronavirus pandemic.

REEL Cinemas, which has sites in Burnley and Blackburn has received a £ 1.5m grant.
