House blaze arrest

A MAN has been arrested following a house fire in Haslingden.

Fire crews were called to Kirkhill

Avenue just after 11.50pm on Saturday, November 6.

A vehicle was well alight on the driveway and the flames then spread to the property.

Crews were in attendance for around an hour and 45 minutes.

Lancashire Police said a 38-year-old man from Haslingden was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage/ arson endangering life and bailed to December 5.
