KATHLEEN HOWORTH

KATHLEEN Howorth, nee Page, passed away peacefully in Ashlands Nursing Home on Wednesday, November 3, aged 85.

Kath was a machinist at local slipper factories including Greenbridge.

She was on the social committee of Goodshaw Brass Band and followed the band.

She was a keen caravanner and fell walker, and she particularly enjoyed walking in the Lake District, Scotland and Yorkshire Dales.

She was also a season ticket holder at Burnley Football Club for a number of years.

But her greatest love was her family.

Beloved wife of Jack, mum of Steve (wife Barbara), grandmother of Ben (wife Cat), Sam (wife Kayleigh), Corinna, Mark and Mia, greatgrandmother of Alfie and Poppy, and much-loved mother-in-law, sister, sister-in-law, auntie and friend. Kath will leave a large imprint on many people’s lives.

Kath’s service and cremation will be held at Burnley Crematorium on Wednesday, November 17 at 10.45am.
