Stolen car is abandoned
NEIGHBOURHOOD police were alerted to an abandoned vehicle on Whitworth Rake, on Sunday.
Upon arrival officers made checks and discovered that the vehicle was stolen and on false plates from the Greater Manchester area.
A spokesperson for Rossendale Police said: “The vehicle has now been recovered and will be checked for forensic opportunities.”
