MRS Rose Fegan, of Dean Lane, Water, died at home on Wednesday, December 1, aged 93.

She started work as a weaver, and worked in several mills. She worked at Forest Mill, Water, until it ceased weaving, and she then worked at Doric Springs until her retirement.

In her younger days she enjoyed knitting. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren, and also walking her dog Meg.

Wife of the late

Leonard, she leaves daughters Rosalyn and Vanessa, son-in-law Philip, grandchild­ren Yolanda, Ryan, Lydia, and John, great-grandchild­ren Eloise, Jackson, Elizabeth, Cooper, Christophe­r, Flynn, and Harrison, sister Jean, brother Bob, and several nephews and nieces.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, December

14, at 12.30pm at Lumb Baptist Church, followed by committal at Rawtenstal­l Cemetery at 2pm, led by Revd David Livermore. Family flowers only; donations if desired to Dogs Trust can be made online at www. fredhamer.co.uk (tributes and donations).
