ARTHUR TRICKETT

MR Arthur Trickett, of Tunstead Crescent, Stacksteads, passed away peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Friday, November 26, aged 83.

Arthur loved socializing with his late wife Eileen to whom he was married for 60 years. Then travelling the world after their children had all grown up.

Arthur worked for RTMasts as a rigger until he took late retirement.

Arthur leaves his son John and daughter-in-law Tracey, daughter Colleen, daughter Lyn and son-in-law Gordon. He was also father to the late Christina. He leaves 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great, greatgranddaughter, brother Keith, and sister-in-law Dorothy.

His funeral will take place on Tuesday, December 14, when his funeral cortège will be leaving his home in Tunstead Crescent at approximately 10.40am to make its way to St Anne’s Church, Edgeside, where the Rev. Rod Bevan will conduct a private service at 11am, followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium at 12.15pm.

Flowers are welcome, with donations if desired in memory of Arthur’s late wife Eileen to the Alzheimer’s Society via the funeral director Sharon Aspinall for Agápe Funeral Service, Waterfoot.
