Guides get share of Co-op fund

NEWCHURCH Rainbows, Brownies, Guides & Rangers have been lucky to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund with a fantastic amount raised of £3,386.20.

Guide Leader, said: “The last 18 months have been really challenging for small, charitable groups.

‘‘The pandemic has drastically affected our fundraising efforts so we’re grateful to have had this partnership with the local Co-op.

“The money will go towards supporting our members here in Newchurch to be able to access all the exciting opportunities that Girlguiding has to offer.”
