CENTRAL METHODIST LADIES FELLOWSHIP

THE last meeting of the year was an afternoon with a difference.

Janet Helm arranged a quiz and a short devotional talk called God Is Not A Number.

The quiz was a biblical one with answers found in the bible or hymn book. No’s 1-25 were listed on the quiz sheet and as an answer was found, the number had to be crossed off the list.

After trying to solve all the 25 questions Janet read out the answers and the winning table got a selection of chocolates as a prize.

A short talk followed, bringing numbers into it, and how God is not a number, and he is always there for everyone.

There was meant to be a short bingo session afterwards to carry on with the theme, but Janet postponed this for a future meeting, as the ladies took so long trying to answer the quiz!

It has been a good few months for the ladies, over 20 attending each fortnightly meeting.

The season will resume in mid March until mid June.
