Children challenge themselves to raise cash for Jack’s Club

-

YOUNG futsal stars have taken part in their own sponsored charity challenges, including taking on Mount Snowdon, hiking up Pendle Hill, bike riding, book challenge and 100 pogo jumps.

Becks Soccer All Stars have raised more than £900 to cover their new kits with Jack’s Club logo, and £600 going directly to Jack’s Club.

Jack’s Club, a group which bonds young adults in Haslingden, was Jason Milburn’s idea, after he received the tragic news that his son, 20-year-old Jack, had taken his own life.

Becks Soccer All Stars, for primary aged children, train on a Tuesday evening at the Adrenaline Centre in Haslingden.

They welcome all abilities, from those who have never played before to those wanting some extra training.

All sessions are about having fun while learning skills and building confidence in a pressurefree environment.
