Factory machine blaze

FOUR fire engines from Bacup, Rawtenstall and Burnley attended a fire at a factory on Heys Street, Bacup.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, involving a metal shredding machine, outside the building using one hose reel, two breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera.

Fire crews were called out just after 4.20pm on Friday, December 17 and were on the scene for approximately 20 minutes.
