KITCHEN FIRE

TWO fire engines from

Bacup and Rochdale attended a kitchen fire incident on Riverside Court in Whitworth.

It involved a pan of food left on a cooker at a domestic property.

Firefighters were called out at 2.50pm on Friday, December 17. They used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and lock snapper to extinguish the fire and were in attendance for around 45 minutes.
