PETER MANTLE

KNOWN as the Doc, Peter, formerly of Rossendale, passed away at Royal Blackburn Hospital on Wednesday, December 22, aged 82.

Peter ran the family business Mantle & Butterworth for many years in Rawtenstall, working alongside his father who started the business.

Peter enjoyed rugby, golf and squash, and enjoyed holidays, and in later life enjoyed travelling around in their campervan.

He leaves wife Jacqueline and son Andrew.

Led by Philip Norris, the service will be held at the Chapel of Rest at 11.45am on Thursday, January 6 followed by interment at Rawtenstall Cemetery at 12.30pm.
