Snow alert
ROSSENDALE could be set to face its first proper snow of the year with the Met Office issuing a warning for the white stuff covering the county.
Weather experts have issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice covering the entire county.
As a result, people can expect power loss and lightning strikes across Lancashire’s towns and cities.
The warning is in place today (Friday) from midnight to 10am.
“Frequent sleet and snow showers may lead to some difficult driving conditions and disruption to travel on Friday morning,” the Met Office says.
